Exposed oak frame
The brief
What we walked into.
Exposed trusses and stone walls leave no cavities to run cables through. Every route had to work around the frame — nothing clipped to the oak, nothing on show at the end.
The result
How it finished.
Original timber on show, modern electrics out of sight. The kitchen reads as a clean insertion in the old frame — with no visible wiring anywhere.
What we did
- First-fix routes planned around the exposed frame
- Kitchen wiring and appliance circuits
- Lighting throughout, positioned off the trusses
- Staircase and landing wiring during the joinery stage
- Second fix and certification as rooms completed
