Shrop-lec Ltd operates from Wem Business Park in Shropshire, working across the county and nationally where the project requires it. The company delivers the full scope of electrical contracting — from single-circuit remedials to complete installations, three-phase distribution, controls and automation, and renewable energy systems — without subcontracting the core work.
That breadth is deliberate. Clients engage one contractor, one point of accountability, and one standard of workmanship across every discipline: neat containment, labelled circuits, certification issued at completion, and aftercare as part of the job rather than an extra.
The company was established by Callum Shropshire, a time-served electrician, and is built around the jobs others decline — difficult access, complex briefs and work that demands proper design before installation.

Environmental commitment
Site travel is by our electric vehicle fleet, supporting zero-emissions delivery and clean air zone compliance. Waste is segregated on site, WEEE and cable are recycled through licensed carriers, and certification and handover documentation are issued digitally as standard.
Health & safety
RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) are produced for every commercial and industrial engagement. Our engineers are CSCS carded, IPAF trained for powered access, and DBS-checked for work in schools, care settings and occupied premises.
Compliance & documentation
All work is designed, installed and certified to BS 7671, registered through NAPIT. Test records, as-built drawings and O&M information are supplied at handover. Public and employer's liability insurance documentation is available on request.
Accountability
A single point of contact per project, agreed programmes of work, and aftercare on every installation. References from commercial, industrial and agricultural clients are available on request.
